Needs must … musings on requirements and business analysis.

Welcome to my professional blog, which has been a little peripatetic since I decided to set one up but which should, hopefully, rest here for some time to come.

I expect it to be a mixed bag, looking at a cross-section of techniques in the areas of requirements’ engineering, business analysis, systems’ engineering, systems’ and software architectures and indeed the whole lifecycle of product development. The “latest posts” page will show the most recent thoughts and a category hierarchy will relate each post to a set of topics.

Comments and questions are extremely welcome, as very definitely is constructive criticism.

One purpose of the blog is to support my Open University students on their course M883 Software Requirements for Business Systems. This course is based on the Volere Process and the book describing the Volere process, “Mastering the Requirements’ Process” by Suzanne and James Robertson.

Enjoy! And if you do, let me know. If you don’t, let me know that too!
